Splashes of Pinks N Glass(es)

Sometimes, a little touch of something can do wonders to change the whole outlook of an ensemble. For example, this shocking pink, sash-like, obi belt. It’s custom made from a leftover piece of fuschia satin fabric, cut, sewed, with little hooks at the back, and voila, I got myself a very versatile belt.
I could wear it with stripes and checked patterns like this...

.. with all black like shown in this post...

... with pinks like on this post...

... with classic pattern like this post here...

Ow, did you notice that on the last pic I wore glasses? Well, I am shortsighted. I love to read, have been since I was little, and because of some childhood recklessness – like getting my nose and eyes way too close to the books – now I don’t have perfect vision.
Most of the time I wear contact lenses, but sometimes I do wear eyeglasses. I think it’s important to give my eyes some rest once in a while, and give them some chance to “breathe”.
I feel lucky to live in this age where I can find all kinds of eyesight help-tools easily. Nowadays you are able to find fashionable, cheap eyeglasses basically everywhere. Yep, you don’t need to sacrifice style just because you’re wearing glasses!
Some time ago, I got contacted by GlassesUSA.com, a company that sells glasses online and they asked if I would be interested to write a sponsored post for them. Well, since I do wear glasses myself, and I liked what I saw on their website, I agreed to do it.
GlassesUSA.com is a website where you can shop for discount prescription eyeglasses and sunglasses. Their mission is to guarantee the highest quality optical products at the most affordable prices in the fastest time span possible – all across the world.
They also offer a special discount for all my readers. You can take 15% off your entire order amount with free shipping for any order over $50 (Code: FS15), or 10% off any order of prescription glasses (Code: Blog10). Don't forget to join their Facebook page at http://www.facebook.com/glassesusa or Twitter feed @GlassesUSA for sales and other promotional coupon info.
I think I don’t look too bad wearing glasses, do I? I feel so Lisa Loeb…

I love all the ways you've styled that belt, but it's my favorite when you paired it with the black dress!
